ANKARA - ``When millions of children are on the brink of death in Addis Ababa, when people suffer in Tal Afar and Kirkuk and when Gaza Strip is burning; peace of people living in Ankara, London, Paris and Washington will be deteriorated,`` said Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Making a keynote speech in the 5th Glocalization Conference in Ankara, Erdogan said, ``as Turkey, we are working hard for a world in which peace prevails, different cultures support each other, and different cultures live side-by-side with each other. Developments that have occurred particularly after September 11th (terrorist attacks) show the need for alliance of civilizations. We cannot ignore it because we are living in a globalizing world.``
On the other hand, Glocal Forum Executive Board President David Kimche said that Glocal Forum is trying to eliminate the gap among world nations.
