ISTANBUL - Exports from Turkey were up 28.24 percent in June 2006, compared to June 2005, Oguz Satici, the Chairman of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) announced on Saturday.
Holding a press conference, Satici noted that Turkey earned 7.6 billion USD from its exports in June 2006.
Satici stated that Turkey`s exports in the first half of this year amounted to 39.9 billion USD.
According to Satici, Turkey`s year-on-year exports were up 11.56 percent, and exceeded 78 billion USD.
