ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul met on Tuesday with members of Iraqi Tribes Council who are holding meetings in Ankara.
Gul attended a part of the meeting held between Foreign Ministry bureaucrats and council members.
The meeting is still continuing.
Turkish delegation, which is headed by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal, is comprising of Deputy Undersecretary Ali Tuygan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Middle East Department Director General Tahsin Burcuoglu and other officials.
These meetings are important for Turkey trying to learn the views of Iraqi people regarding the issue of sending soldiers to Iraq.
