ATHENS - Turkish National Education Minister Huseyin Celik, who is currently in Athens for the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) national education ministers` meeting, met Greek Education Minister Marietta Yiannakou.
Following the meeting, Celik told reporters that they discussed progress of Turkish-Greek relations in the last 6 years as well as education issue. Celik added that he invited Yiannakou to Turkey.
Celik noted that he delivered a speech about Turkey`s view towards higher education during OECD meeting. He added that he exchanged views with many ministers as well.
On the other hand, Celik told A.A that he proposed to hold next education ministers` meeting of OECD in Turkey, adding that OECD Council will assess the proposal.
