MOSCOW - Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer arrived in Russian capital of Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Sezer and Putin will hold a joint news conference after their meeting on Thursday.
President Sezer will later receive Boris Grizlov, chairman of the State Duma, the lower chamber of the Russian parliament.
Accompanied by Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, Sezer will proceed to St. Petersburg, the second biggest city of Russia, on Friday.
He will visit the worldwide famous State Hermitage Museum, and partake in a luncheon to be hosted in his honor by St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko.
President Sezer is expected to return to Turkey the same day after visiting the Peterhof Palace.
