ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister & Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan met International Monetary Fund (IMF) Acting Managing Director Anne Krueger and IMF Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Giorgianni in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Recent global economic developments as well as expectations about Turkish economy were discussed during the meeting.
Krueger congratulated Babacan for Turkish government`s success in implementation of economic program.
On the other hand, Krueger will attend the 3rd meeting of Investment Advisory Council of Turkey which will convene in Istanbul tomorrow.
