ANKARA - The book ``the Sacred Trusts`` published by the Turkish Kaynak Publishing House was presented with the bronze award.
The Sappi, world`s leading producer of coated fine paper and chemical cellulose, decided to present the book with the bronze award in a contest in which 1,024 entries submitted by printers from 36 countries across Europe and the Middle East participated in.
The comprehensive album prepared by Hilmi Aydin, Ahmet Dogru and Talha Ugurluel, presents the marvelous collection of the Sacred Relics at Topkapi Palace Museum, Istanbul.
The collection includes information and photographs about more than 600 invaluable belongings of prophets such as Abraham, Moses, and Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet`s Companions, as well as a number of Muslim saints. Excavated from the most restricted rooms of the palace, the entire selection is compiled in the book for first time, including those that are not on exhibit for daily visits.
The Turkish version of the book was earlier presented with the silver award in a contest in Austria in 2005.
