ANKARA - Turkish Central Bank raised overnight and late liquidity window lending interest rates by 2 points.
The bank kept the overnight borrowing rate unchanged at 17.25 percent, while it raised overnight lending interest rates from 20.25 to 22.25 percent.
Releasing a statement, the bank said on Wednesday that it kept steady late liquidity window borrowing interest rate at 13.25 percent, while it increased late liquidity window lending interest rates from 23.25 to 25.25 percent.
The bank also raised the interest rates applicable to overnight and one-week maturity borrowing facilities provided for primary dealer banks via repo transactions within the framework of open market transactions from 19.25 to 21.25 percent.
