MOSCOW - Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will arrive in Moscow today to attend ''Paris Pact Initiative Ministerial Meeting'' upon invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Gul will participate in the Paris Pact meeting on Wednesday and welcome Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, who will arrive at the Vnukova Airport of Moscow tomorrow evening for a formal visit.
The meeting organized by Russian Foreign Ministry will focus on boosting cooperation against drug trafficking from Afghanistan.
UN sources said that drug trafficking has expanded dramatically over the recent years, noting that 90 percent of the drugs seized in Europe has been trafficked from Afghanistan.
