ELAZIG - One village guard died and another was wounded in a land-mine blast near eastern city of Elazig, sources said on Sunday.
The land-mine, earlier planted by terrorists, exploded near Gokdere region of Elazig while security forces and village guards were patrolling around the area. One village guard was killed and another guard was injured in the blast.
An operation is underway in the region.
