International Baghdad Fair To Take Place In December

ANKARA - The 36th International Baghdad General Trade and Industrial Products Fair will take place between December 1 and 7.
A statement of Forum Fair Organization Inc. said on Sunday that Turkey would have the biggest stand in the fair with 10 thousand square meters.
The statement noted that contracting and engineering services, construction materials, oil and natural gas industry equipment, water pumps, telecommunication equipment, communication lines, generators, air conditioners, computers, cell phones, automobiles, buses, lorries, ambulances, house goggles, refrigerators, washing machines, cereals, biscuits, chocolate, medical equipment could be marketed in the fair.
The fair is important for companies which want to have a share in reconstruction of Iraq after the war.
Forum Fair Organization Inc. General Director Bilgin Aygul defends that the possible business deal potential in the fair is 1 billion U.S. dollars.
Aygul emphasizes that Iraqi private sector wishes to cooperate with Turkish industrialists and businessmen.
Meanwhile, it is stated that 80 companies will join the Third International Tehran Industry Fair to be held between October 2 and 6.
