ANKARA - Turkish Central Bank Monetary Policy Committee will convene in an extraordinary meeting on Sunday.
The committee, which will assess the recent developments in economy, is expected to rise interest rates.
The committee held an extraordinary meeting on June 7th and its regular meeting on June 20th.
The monetary policy committee earlier increased the overnight borrowing interest rate from 13.25 to 15 percent and the lending interest rate from 16.25 to 18 percent.
