ANKARA - The government has submitted a motion to parliament on dispatch of troops to Congo, said sources on Friday.
The motion which was submitted on June 20th asks the parliament to give permission to dispatch of soldiers to Congo. If the parliament approves the motion, Turkish soldiers will participate in the international force, deployed for settlement of security, during first democratic elections in Congo.
Upon demand of UN, the EU has started to create an international military force to settle security during the first democratic elections in Congo on July 30th.
