SOFIA - ''Turkey supported Bulgaria's NATO membership. Also both Turkey and Bulgaria are supporting each other in EU process,'' said Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc who is currently in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Speaking to reporters, Arinc said, ''Turkey will benefit from Bulgaria's experiences in EU process.''
Noting that trade volume between Turkey and Bulgaria is 2.5 billion USD, Arinc said, ''many leading Turkish companies have investments in Bulgaria.''
''I conveyed demands of Turkish businessmen regarding visa procedures to Bulgarian officials. They will provide facilities to Turkey about visa, residence and work permits,'' added Arinc.
Upon a question, Arinc said that the condition of Turkish minority in Bulgaria has improved significantly in recent years.
