ISTANBUL - Turkish Radio Television Corp. (TRT) and Buena Vista International Television (Walt Disney) on Wednesday signed a cooperation protocol.
Taking the floor at the signing ceremony, Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay said, ``with this agreement, TRT has acquired the exclusive right to broadcast Walt Disney`s animated cartoons and movie films in Turkey,`` and noted that this would be a 4-year agreement.
Atalay said this agreement with Walt Disney would be the most comprehensive agreement of Turkey signed in this area and wished this agreement to continue between the two esteemed broadcasting institutions in the international broadcasting platform.
