SOFIA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc opened the new office of Turkish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Sofia, Bulgaria on Thursday.
Arinc told reporters that commercial relations between Turkey and Bulgaria are very important, adding that the trade volume between the two countries is 2.5 billion USD.
Arinc welcomed the investments of Turkish businessmen in Bulgaria and called Bulgarian businessmen to invest in Turkey.
Early in the day, Arinc met Bulgarian Deputy Parliament Speaker Unal Lutfi and members of the Parliamentary Foreign Policy Commission as well as Bulgarian Parliamentary European Integration Commission Chairman Atanas Paparizov.
