LEFKOSA - ``We were not expecting Greek Cypriot administration to welcome the decision,`` said President Mehmet Ali Talat of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) while assessing the reaction of Greek Cypriots to the decision of Property Commission.
Talat noted that European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), not Greek Cypriot administration, will decide whether Property Commission produces solutions.
Noting that the commission makes important and comprehensive decisions, Talat said that a commission which works like a court has taken important decision in such a short period, and this is a success.
Talat added that the commission was established within three months and made very important decisions within another three months after it was established.
Property Commission decided that two Greek Cypriots would be given back their former properties in Tatlisu and another Greek Cypriot would be paid compensation in return for his/her property in TRNC.
