ANKARA - Investment Advisory Council of Turkey (IAC) will hold its third meeting in Istanbul between June 28th and 29th under the chairmanship of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat stated on Thursday that International Monetary Fund (IMF) Acting Managing Director Anne Krueger, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Shigeo Katsu and European Investment Bank President Philippe Maystadt as well as high-level officials from 20 multinational companies of 12 different sectors from 11 countries will participate in the meeting.
IAC was established to recover investment milieu in Turkey as well as to strengthen Turkey`s investment image in international area.
Total annual turnover of 20 multinational companies which will attend the meeting is nearly 1 trillion USD as of the end of 2005.
IAC had earlier held two meetings in 2004 and 2005.
