Azerbaijani Prime Minister Aliyev, Fm Guliyev And British Chief Of General Staff Gen. Walker Expected To Visit Turkey

ANKARA - Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev will come to Ankara to hold contacts.
Aliyev, who is expected to come to Ankara on Sept. 8, will hold contacts prior to the presidential elections that will be held in Azerbaijan in October.
In his statements, Aliyev said that elections had a determining character for the future of Azerbaijan and that Azerbaijan was open to all kinds of support in order to hold the elections in a fair and free atmosphere.
In this framework Aliyev can ask Ankara for help and ask for observers.
Bilateral relations, and developments about Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline project are expected to be taken up during Aliyev's contacts in Ankara.
After Aliyev, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Vilayet Guliyev will come to Ankara.
Meanwhile British Chief of General Staff General Sir Michael Walker will also visit Turkey at the end of September.
The visit of Walker who will have contacts with officials in General Staff in Ankara is important as Britain is part of the authority which tries to bring control and security to Iraq.
General Sir Walker took over his mission from Admiral Sir Michael Boyce last May.
