ANKARA - Banks' credit volume decreased 950.2 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 46 quadrillion 797.7 trillion TL between August 15-22, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 47 quadrillion 747.9 trillion TL on August 15.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 781.8 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 617.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 167.8 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 39 quadrillion 916.3 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 314.3 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
