ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 51 million U.S. dollars between August 22 and 29, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 29 billion 711 million U.S. dollars on August 22, increased to 29 billion 762 million U.S. dollars on August 29.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 42 million U.S. dollars from 10 billion 801 million U.S. dollars to 10 billion 843 million U.S. dollars between August 8 and 15.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations decreased 112 million U.S. dollars from 41 billion 684 million U.S. dollars to 41 billion 572 million U.S. dollars between August 8 and 15.
