ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc will pay a formal visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday.
Arinc will go to Bulgaria at an invitation from Bulgarian National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski.
On the first day of his visit, Arinc will visit Bulgarian National Assembly. Arinc and Pirinski will hold a joint news conference following bilateral talks.
Arinc will attend a luncheon that will be hosted by Bulgarian-Turkish Interparliamentary Friendship Group Acting Chairman Kasim Dal.
Arinc will be received by Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov and he will later meet Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev.
Arinc will attend dinner which will be hosted by Pirinski in his honor after having an interview with media organizations of Bulgaria.
On Thursday, Arinc will have talks in Bulgarian Parliament. He will meet Foreign Policy Commission Chairman Solomon Passi, and Atanas Paparizov, chairman of European Integration Committee in Bulgarian Parliament.
Arinc will inaugurate new office of Turkish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the second day of his visit and will attend the dinner that will be hosted by Turkish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
On Friday, Arinc will meet the Turkish journalists over breakfast before meeting Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin in Sofia and later proceed to Plovdiv.
Turkish Parliament Speaker will meet Plovdiv Governor Todor Petkov and tour the city.
Arinc is expected to return to Turkey on June 23rd after concluding talks in Plovdiv.
