IZMIR - The First International Women Studies Conference will be held in western city of Izmir between June 22nd and 24th in association with the Izmir Economy University (IEU), the Marmara Foundation and the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
The theme of the conference is ''Impacts of the European Union on Socio-Economic Development of Women''.
Turkey's First Lady Semra Sezer, Marmara Foundation EU Platform Chairwoman Mujgan Suver, representatives of non-governmental organizations and guests from all over the world will be in attendance at the conference.
The conference will be attended also by academicians from the EU-member countries, African countries and Pakistan.
