Turkish Parliament Speaker Bülent Arınç is scheduled to travel to Bulgaria from 21 to 23 June, at the invitation of Bulgarian National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski.
On the opening day, Arınç will visit the Bulgarian legislature and hold joint talks with Pirinski, followed by a shared press conference. He will also attend a luncheon hosted by the Bulgarian-Turkish Interparliamentary Friendship Group and later meet separately with Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov and Prime Minister Sergei Stamoshev.
The second day will include the opening ceremony of a new Turkish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry office.
Before departing Sofia on the final day, Arınç will meet Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin, then continue to Plovdiv for a meeting with Governor Todor Petkov and a tour of the city. He is expected to return to Türkiye on 23 June.
