-TRNC FOREIGN MINISTRY: ``SOME ISSUES WERE DRAWN UP IN A UNILATERAL MANNER``
LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Foreign Ministry said that some issues regarding buffer zone were drawn up in a unilateral manner in the UN Security Council`s decision to extend the mandate of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) for a further period of six months.
The ministry noted that Turkish Cypriot administration would continue to support UN Secretary General`s good will mission in Cyprus.
It added that technical committees which would contribute to improvement of confidence atmosphere between the two sides in the island should start to work as soon as possible.
