KOMOTINI - Turkish parliamentary EU adjustment delegation led by Yasar Yakis arrived in Western Thrace on Thursday after concluding talks in Athens.
Speaking to Greek reporters, Yakis said, ``we have come here to see the Turkish minority living in a friendly country.``
Yakis stated that Turkey considered Turkish minority living in Western Thrace as a canal between Turkey and Greece, noting that Greek Cypriot minority living in Istanbul was another canal of friendship.
The delegation will depart from Greece on June 17th.
