KOCAELI - Armored vehicles and long-range weapons in British-flagged ship at the Derince port in the Marmara Sea are on the way to Iraq, sources said on Thursday.
Sources stated that after an investigation conducted by customs inspectors, it was found out that six armored vehicles and long-range weapons in the ship belonged to Iraqi Defense Ministry.
Customs inspectors prepared a report regarding the weapons in the ship and sent it to public prosecutor's office in Kocaeli.
The report said that armored vehicles and long-range weapons in the ship (on its way to United Arab Emirates) were sent by Ukroboron company to Iraqi Defense Ministry.
