BAGHDAD - Turkmen member of the Iraqi Interim Government Council Songul Cabuk said on Wednesday that she was against dispute and discrimination among Iraq people.
Speaking to A.A correspondent, Cabuk said Iraq Turkmens were against all kinds of discrimination that would weaken integrity of the country and unity of people.
Stating that making discrimination was a destructive method, Cabuk said people should take lessons from the mistakes made in the past.
Cabuk said all Iraqi people should be equal on assignments and rights, adding that they refuse to be dependent on foreigners.
Cabuk called on Turkmens, Kurds and Arabs to refrain from any kind of clash. She said national unity was valid for all Iraqi people.
Cabuk criticized representation of Turkmens with only one minister in the newly formed cabinet.
