PRISTINA - Mayor Ismet Beciri of Pristina, the capital city of Kosovo, said on Tuesday that Pristina wanted to be sister city with Ankara.
Beciri who visited Ankara last week said that his meeting with Ankara Great City Mayor Melih Gokcek and other officials had a sincere atmosphere and added that he proposed to declare two capitals as sister cities.
Beciri said that there were cooperation facilities between the municipalities of two cities and they wanted to benefit from this opportunity in the best way.
Beciri said that he had a beneficial meeting also with Besiktas Mayor Yusuf Namlioglu during his visit to Turkey and added that he was pleased to see that Turkey was rapidly developing.
