MOSUL - Mosul Deputy Governor Ibrahim Arafat said on Tuesday that they would start to purchase energy from Turkey as of next week.
Speaking to A.A correspondent, Ibrahim Arafat said that negotiations they held with Turkey about energy were resulted in a positive way.
''We'll purchase electricity from Turkey as of next week. We will pay 8 cents per one kilowatt. After our visit to Turkey with a delegation of 45 businessmen, we recorded progress in our commercial relations. Businessmen from various provinces of Turkey came here. We provide majority of our needs except carpets from Turkey. We'll go to southern Adana province as the guest of Adana Trade Chamber soon,'' said Arafat.
