BERLIN - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that they would lift obstacles in front of German businessmen and foreign capital till the new year.
Erdogan, who is currently in Germany, visited International Electronic Fair in Berlin and Turkish stands in the fair.
Erdogan talked with Vestel Executive Board Chairman Ahmet Zorlu and said that they would continue supporting Turkish industrialists.
Stating that he and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder would mainly discuss Turkey's accession to the European Union (EU) during their meeting on Tuesday, Erdogan said that Germany supported Turkey's membership to the Union. He added that he hoped that this support would continue.
Erdogan said that he would ask support to join the European Conservative Group in his meeting with German Christian Democrat Union (CDU) party leader Angela Merkel.
