VIENNA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul arrived in Vienna, Austria on Monday for an official visit upon the invitation of Austrian Foreign Minister Benita-Maria Ferrero-Waldner.
Gul will chair the meeting of the Turkey-Austria Business Council which will be held in Turkish Embassy in Vienna and attend a dinner which will be hosted by Ambassador Mithat Balkan in his honor the same day.
Foreign Minister Gul will firstly meet with Austrian Foreign Minister Ferrero-Waldner on Tuesday. After the meeting between Gul and Ferrero-Waldner, they will hold a joint press conference.
Gul will come together with Austrian Parliament Speaker Andreas Kohl.
Later, Foreign Minister Gul will attend a luncheon which will be hosted by Ferrero-Waldner in his honor and meet with Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel on Tuesday.
Gul will participate in a reception which will be held in Turkish Embassy in his honor and meet with Turkish businessmen and representatives of Turkish associations in Austria.
Ferrero-Waldner will also attend the reception in the embassy.
