IZMIR - Belarussian Trade and Industry Chamber's Deputy Chairman Yuri Lasitski said on Monday that ''we believe that competition will increase with companies that will join bilateral trade.''
The 23-member trade delegation which came from Belarus, visited Aegean Region Industry Chamber's Secretary General Mustafa Kalyoncu the same day.
During the visit, Lasitski said that they came to Izmir for the third time, adding that they joined International Izmir Fair in sectors of metallic oil and chemistry.
''There are companies in our delegation which work with Turkey in exporting and importing goods. We are also advantageous in respect of transportation. We know each other better as a result of these meetings,'' he said.
Kalyoncu said that contacts and mutual exchange of information continued with Belarus for years, adding that ''I believe that positive steps will be taken during the bilateral meetings.''
