ISTANBUL - Turkey's exports in August 2003 increased by 29.1 percent and reached 3,88 billion U.S. dollars.
According to the data of Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM), there was a 33.7 percent of increase in exports between January-August, 2003.
The exports which amounted to 22.28 billion dollars in the first eight months of last year, increased to 29.8 billion dollars in the same period this year.
Between September 1, 2002 and August 31, 2003, the annual increase in exports was 32.3 percent and it reached 43.69 billion U.S. dollars.
