BERLIN - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Turkish companies participating Electronics Fair during his scheduled visit to Berlin between September 1 and 3.
Erdogan will leave for Paris on Sunday to watch Sureyya Ayhan who will compete women's 1,500 meters final in the 9th World Athletics Championships. Erdogan is expected to proceed to Germany.
Upon the request of Electronics Exporters Union, Erdogan will visit the Turkish companies participating in Electronics Fair.
Vestel, Beko, Profilo-Telra, BAFF, IMPER, Lodos, NETA, and UFUK companies participate in the fair.
Erdogan is expected to meet with representatives of Turkish associations on Tuesday morning at breakfast.
Germany Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will welcome Erdogan with a military ceremony. Schroeder and Erdogan are expected to hold a joint news conference after their meeting.
Erdogan will also meet with Germany Foreign Minister Joschka Fisher.
Prime Minister Erdogan is also expected to meet with German journalists and tourism agencies, and will participate in inauguration ceremony of Berlin office of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TUSIAD).
Erdogan on Wednesday will meet Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) at breakfast.
Prime Minister Erdogan is expected to deliver a speech at a meeting that will be jointly held by Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Turkish Researches Center.
Erdogan will meet with Christian Democrat Union Party (CDU) leader Angela Merkel and will depart from Berlin.
