ANKARA - ''Condition of (former PM) Bulent Ecevit does not worsen,'' Rahsan Ecevit, wife of former Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said on Tuesday.
Informing reporters about the condition of her husband, Rahsan Ecevit said, ''we should be patient and wait.''
Ecevit, 82, had a stroke on May 18th after attending the funeral of judge Mustafa Yucel Ozbilgin, who was killed in an armed attack against the Council of State HQs in Ankara.
He was taken to the GATA medical center with aphasia and weakness in his right arm and leg. The stroke led to a bleeding in the left side of his brain. A surgery was performed to remove the accumulated blood and reduce the pressure on his brain. Since then he has remained on life support.
