BERLIN - ''We have discussed joint investments both on oil and natural gas,'' Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said after meeting German Minister for Economics & Technology Michael Glos on Tuesday.
''We have discussed joint investments since Turkey's becoming an energy corridor (between east and west) following accomplishment of Baku-Ceyhan-Tbilisi pipeline,'' Guler noted.
He underscored that 15 big projects were carried out jointly with Germany so far, and noted that there are currently 20 ongoing big projects.
Guler said German Chancellor Angela Merkel would pay a visit to Turkey between October 5-6 accompanied by German businessmen, adding that various issues, mainly related to energy sector, would be discussed during the visit.
Guler is scheduled to meet executives of some companies later today and is expected to return to Turkey on Wednesday.
