Red Crescent Team Which Completed Its Program In Iraq Returns Today

ANKARA - Red Crescent Directorate General stated on Thursday that Red Crescent team which completed its regular program in Iraq would return to Turkey today.
Releasing a statement, Red Crescent Directorate General said that official sources did not confirm claims such as ''terrorist threat against Red Crescent''.
International Red Cross Committee and International Red Crescent and Red Cross Associations Federation did not confirm the claims which were conveyed to those organizations from various sources and of which sources were unknown, noted the statement.
The statement said Red Crescent team which was working in Iraq would return to Turkey today by completing its regular program.
Red Crescent officials said that team in Iraq was planned to return to Turkey in this period and a new team would be sent to the region for humanitarian aid, if the government demanded.
