ANKARA - Mayor Ismet Begiri of Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, paid a visit to Ankara Mayor Melih Gokcek on Thursday.
Speaking at the meeting, Begiri said that municipal teams' efforts of cleaning and adorning in boulevards and avenues had drawn their attention.
Expressing their pleasure with hospitality of Ankara Municipality, Begiri said that they wanted to make Ankara and Pristina sister cities.
Meanwhile, Gokcek informed Begiri and accompanying delegation on their works.
Gokcek said, ''besides works such as infrastructure and environment protection, Ankara Municipality also supports cultural activities and expends efforts to solve social problems.''
He added that they would be pleased with becoming sister city with Pristina.
