BAGHDAD - Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez, the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq said on Thursday that they welcomed the participation of international society in efforts of providing security and stability in Iraq.
Sanchez said that their position about the issue of coming of Turkish soldiers to Iraq was in the same parallel.
Speaking in a news conference in Baghdad, Sanchez said that the Turkish government still negotiated the issue of sending soldiers, adding that the place and mission of soldiers depended on the size of the troop and its capacity.
