ISTANBUL - Istanbul`s Sakip Sabanci Museum is getting ready to host another important display after the exhibition ``Picasso is in Istanbul``.
The exhibition ``Great Master of Sculpture Rodin in Istanbul`` will be inaugurated on June 13th.
Auguste Rodin`s 203 sculptures will be displayed in Istanbul, courtesy of ``Musee Rodin`` in Paris.
Meanwhile, the statue by Rodin of leading writer and thinker Victor Hugo temporarily replaced the bronze horse sculpture in the garden of the museum in Istanbul.
The exhibition will remain open till September 3rd.
Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) who brought monumental public sculptures into the modern era, was considered one of the greatest sculptors of all time. Many of his work are famous throughout the world, such as `The Man with the Broken Nose`, `Saint John the Baptist`, `The Kiss` and probably the most famous of them all `The Thinker`.
