ANKARA - Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu met his Georgian counterpart Vano Merabishvili in Ankara on Thursday.
Speaking at the meeting, Aksu said, ''we will discuss several cooperation projects on fight against terrorism and organized crimes. As we stressed on numerous occasions, the fight against terrorism requires cooperation among countries.''
''Training is one of the most important elements in our cooperation with Georgia. We are ready to convey experiences of Turkish security units to their Georgian counterparts,'' Aksu added.
Meanwhile, Merabishvili thanked Aksu for providing training programs for a number of Georgian security officials in Turkey.
Merabishvili and an accompanying delegation are expected to depart from Turkey on June 11th.
