ANKARA - Chief of Staff of the Italian Army Gen. Filiberto Cecchi will pay a visit to Turkey at invitation of Turkish Land Forces Commander Gen. Yasar Buyukanit.
According to a statement released by the Land Forces Command said on Thursday, Lieutenant General Cecchi will pay a visit to Turkey between June 11th and 13th, 2006.
Gen. Buyukanit will decorate Gen. Cecchi with the medal of merit of Turkish Armed Forces during his stay in Turkey.
