ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted a dinner in honor of Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora in Ankara on Wednesday.
Erdogan said that enhancement of cooperation between Turkey and Lebanon would contribute to peace, prosperity and stability in the Middle East.
Stating that they wanted to sign free trade agreement (FTA) with Lebanon, Erdogan said that FTA would assist activities of Turkish and Lebanese private sectors.
Erdogan underlined that the two countries should also focus on projects in the areas of tourism, education and culture.
On the other hand, Siniora noted Turkey and Arab world had good commercial relations, adding that improvement of relations between Turkey and his country would contribute to solution of the problems in the region.
