ANKARA - U.S. Ambassador in Ankara Ross Wilson said that U.S. Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Richard A. Boucher would pay a visit to Turkey in the coming days.
A reception was held in Ankara on Wednesday to mark the 55th anniversary of foundation of the Turkish-American Association.
During the reception, Wilson told reporters that Boucher would visit Istanbul soon to attend a conference and he would proceed to Ankara to hold talks.
Wilson noted that U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman would probably visit Turkey to attend formal inauguration of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline.
Replying to a question, Wilson said that strategic vision document between Turkey and the United States was about to be completed.
