ISTANBUL - Turkish Industrialists & Businessmen Association (TUSIAD) will attend the Council of Presidents meeting of UNICE (Union of Industrial & Employers' Confederations of Europe) between June 8th-9th in Vienna, Austria.
''Economic condition of Europe, fundamental economic tendencies in Europe and the world as well as recent developments in economic governance will be discussed in the meeting'', it was noted in a TUSIAD statement.
Participants will also focus on the possible initiatives that can be launched for reconstruction of UNICE within the scope of decisions which were taken in UNICE extraordinary meeting in April, 2006 in Paris.
UNICE which is defined as the voice of business in Europe aims to boost innovation, improve the functioning of labor market, make environmental policy more effective and efficient besides fostering international trade investment.
