Erdogan: 7th Adjustment Package Was Adopted At Parliament

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan departed for eastern Mus province on Tuesday to attend the celebrations of the 932nd anniversary of Malazgirt Victory.
Erdogan replied questions of reporters at Ankara's Esenboga Airport prior to his departure.
When recalled the statements of National Security Council (NSC) Secretary General Tuncer Kilinc, who said that the Seventh Adjustment Package made NSC non-functional, Erdogan said, ''the Seventh Adjustment Package was adopted at the Parliament. Parliament made all negotiations and discussions regarding the issue and concluded it. Thus, there is no need to talk on it anymore.''
Upon a question whether they received information from the delegation that went to the north of Iraq, Erdogan said that there was not any different development yet and if there were, both Foreign Ministry and themselves would release statements.
When asked whether Parliament would hold an extraordinary meeting regarding the article on selling lands that lost the characteristics of forest and whether it could be in September, Erdogan replied, ''no,'' and added that the Parliament would be opened on its regular date.
