Projects That Will Be Financed With E.U. Funds To Be Sent To D.P.T. From Now On

ANKARA - Projects which will be financed by European Union (EU) funds will be sent to State Planning Institute (DPT) from now on instead of Secretariat General for EU.
Economy administration stressed that DPT was responsible for correlation of the projects with the investment program, and that it was normal to assign the DPT with this.
They also pointed out that the issue was important to provide an integrity in investment program.
The projects, which would be developed in line with the principles and priorities included in National Program and National Development Plan, will also directly be sent to DPT Undersecretariat.
DPT will from now on carry out necessary studies with the related institution in project development process. If necessary, study groups will be formed with the participation of related institutions.
National Finance Aid Coordinator's office will present the project package to the EU side on behalf of Turkey.
