THE HAGUE - Dutch Foreign Minister Ben Bot Thursday hailed the death of Al-Qaeda's chief in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi as a blow for the terror network, according to the ANP news agency.
"This is a major blow to terrorism", he told the lower house of parliament.
"Zarqawi had a lot of blood on his hands and his death will be a signal to other terrorist leaders, telling them clearly that they cannot continue their actions without being punished," he said.
"In the end they will all be captured or eliminated," he said.
The Al-Qaeda chief -- one of the world's most wanted men -- was killed late Wednesday in an airstrike on a safe house near Baghdad.
