KIRKUK - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) parliamentarians Turhan Comez and Cevdet Erdol on Tuesday visited Kirkuk Governor Abdurrahman Mustafa.
Comez and Erdol, currently in Iraq for the hospitals which Turkey would establish in Baghdad and Kirkuk, visited the area allocated for the hospital in Kirkuk.
Speaking at the meeting, Mustafa said they were pleased over the importance Turkey attributes to Kirkuk, and that they were ready to cooperate with everybody.
Mustafa said they don't want intervention in their domestic affairs, stating that they lived in safety in Kirkuk yet that some circles wanted to disrupt this. He said there were terrorist elements, noting that they were in an effort to make Kirkuk an example city.
Comez in his part said he hoped the peace harmony would be an example to the whole world.
